My career has largely been within the technology sector, including a period of self-employed consulting, where I, like many others, struggled to generate enough business to truly feel financially secure.
As a consequence, I took a permanent Operations Manager role for a tech company that provides software to a range of industries, but the company suffered the same peaks and troughs that many businesses do, often struggling to generate a predictable and consistent flow of customers, and ultimately they had to make redundancies, myself included.
I decided to start-up my own business again, but this time, I vowed that I would fix the common problem that I was seeing at most businesses which was a lack of regular customers, so I set out to develop a systematic approach to generating a predictable and consistent flow of customers.
That is when I first started experimenting with LinkedIn, in conjunction with my previous background and knowledge of websites, CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but combining these elements, and spending hundreds of hours perfecting LinkedIn marketing got me to a point where I had finally cracked it! I now had a systematic approach to generating a predictable and consistent flow of customers.
To further build my knowledge of LinkedIn, I enrolled in a mentoring programme with arguably the USA’s leading LinkedIn expert, Ted Prodromou, who is a 5-time best-selling author and part of LinkedIn’s inner circle.
I started offering my LinkedIn customer generation service to other businesses and we now usually have a waiting list of clients across multiple sectors. If you would like to reserve a place on the waiting list, let me know and I will add you alternatively you can book a time for a no obligation exploratory virtual chat, by popping a 15 minute call in my diary here.
